Customer Review: boys 10/12 gangster costume
I was very pleased with this costume it was well made and I needed a costume that was going to work with the cold weather in new York I was very satisfied and would buy again.

As a faculty member at a local university I sometimes have students ask me where I live. I am leery of this, especially at Halloween time. Years ago, when I was a new faculty member, I had a colleague that enjoyed having students hit his house with toilet paper. He always felt it was a sign of their affection for him. Myself, I could do without cleaning up the mess. Thus it got so that when students asked me where I lived, I told them if they wanted an address I would give them one. The address I would give them would be his. I know this was misleading, but I didn't directly say it was mine.

Inevitably he would come to work the next day and laugh, "Those little devils hit me again!" I would just laugh along with him, especially since I was not the one that had to clean the mess out of my trees. He was surprised at the increase in his popularity in those years and I was more than happy to let him revel in the joy of the students' love for him.

However, he got older and left us. At first I was at a loss as to what to do. But it wasn't long until a new faculty member joined our department. I nonchalantly asked him where he lived and then memorized his address. Soon his house was getting hit by an exorbitant amount of certain squeezably soft personal paper products.

It was at this point I made a big mistake. One Halloween, when the students asked me where I lived, I put my colleague's address on the board. I got busy with class and forgot about it. As my lecture was ending, before I had a chance to erase the board, he walked in to prepare his class. With shock, he asked what his address was doing on the board. My students looked at me and grinned, and no matter how I tried to gloss it over, I knew I was in trouble.

That particular year we owned a beautiful, female Great Pyrenees dog. We had borrowed a male Great Pyrenees to have her bred. He stood almost eye level with many people while he was standing on all fours and when he put his paws on the fence he looked down on almost everyone. He was especially intimidating as he protected the female, roaming diligently around our yard that nearly encompassed our house.

We heard a ruckus in the yard late on Halloween night. The male dog started going crazy. There was a loud commotion, a van door slammed, and then the van zoomed off, leaving us wondering what it was all about.

The next day my students approached me about turning their assignments in late. They said the server my colleague was in charge of was not working. I didn't question them further, but told them to get the assignments in as soon as possible.

Later in the day, one student came in to confess that it wasn't a server problem. He then told me that my colleague had picked up a whole bunch of students in his van and then he drove to the store. He went in and bought a whole bunch of the largest packs of toilet paper they had. They had driven to my house to teach me a lesson, but had been driven away by the dog.

The student told me that when my colleague brought them back to town and dropped them off, they took all of his toilet paper with them. Then, in the early hours of the morning, when they were sure he was asleep, they went and hit his house with the toilet paper he had purchased. There was nothing wrong with the server. He knew who had done it and he had locked their accounts.

And thus was fulfilled the scripture that says "They shall fall into the pit which they dig for others", though my colleague might question the validity of my interpretation.

Arab Sheik Halloween Costume for Adults

Arab Sheik Adult costumes for the Arabic style that will be a huge hit this Halloween!! A Middle Eastern costume is guaranteed to make this Halloween one to remember!!

There's no reason to overspend on Halloween costumes if you plan ahead. Here are tips for saving money at Halloween:

1. Prepare for next year - of course it's too late now, but check Halloween stores and local drugstores the day after Halloween and stock up on accessories that don't go out of style like face makeup, vampire teeth, and cobweb netting. The discounts are often as much as 90%. Garage sales also net very, very cheap Halloween costumes if you're willing to grab them when you see them.

2. Start early - It is easy to sometimes make your own, but never a good idea to start looking for good budget ideas on October 30th.

3. Look for ideas that don't tie to specific characters. It's hard to make something look like a real good knock-off of Mickey Mouse.

4. Try community sites for previously used Halloween outfits, especially in kids' sizes.

5. Involve your child - ask them what they want to be and use items your kids are already interested in. If you have football or soccer outfits, use them. This is simple and might be easier to sell to your child rather than trying to imitate what they have seen on TV.

6. Take a trip to thrift store and consider these favorites:

Old prom dresses, along with blood for a "Carrie" costume, or for Beauty Pageant misfits
Bridal gowns for "Bride of Frankenstein" or cut down as princess dresses
Old tuxedos for crazy French waiters
Retro outfits

7. Consider these cheap and easy costumes:

Wrap a sheet and you have a mummy or a toga costume
Safety pin odd clothing items to a single colored ensemble and go as "static cling."
Wrap a red blanket around a child, put on a big cross or other medallion and go as a medieval crusader
Eye patch, red turtleneck, blue jeans and a red bandana for a pirate
Attach Smarties to your child's pants with packing tape to create a "smartie(s) pants" costume (familyfun.com idea)

8. Consult websites for ideas. Two of our favorites are:

coolest-homemade-costumes.com - idea sharing site
familyfun.com (even a category for last minute ideas)

There are plenty of ideas without the need for a glue gun or sewing machine. Even if you feel you aren't very creative, the websites listed above have lots of ideas of things you can put together mostly using items you have at home.

Halloween doesn't have to be expensive and can be a lot of fun, probably more so, if you use a little imagination rather than buying something off the rack at the store. Put on your creative hat and get cracking because here is an easy method for creating homemade Halloween masks for your little trick-or-treater.

Customer Review: Bad quality
I got very surprised with the poor quality of the product. Even so, my soon loved it. He wears the costume every day.Despite the quality, I'm satisfied.
Customer Review: SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!
I ordered mine through the nickshop website and recieved my costume today. I was extremely disappointed. The quality is HORRIBLE. The costume I ordered was the deluxe version and it isn't worth $10.00. Save your money and either have one made or find something else. My son loves lazytown and I feel really bad this costume wont last half a night trick or treating.

The Joker Halloween costume is possibly the most sought after outfit this trick or treat season. It's easy to understand why! It's a very fun outfit to create yourself, recognizable and scary! It's got all the appeal and potential of the perfect costume. Although this Joker Heath character will be seen everywhere, creating your own costume will give it a personality of it's own making it unique. That's what makes a character like this so much fun at Halloween. But why not take it a step further?

Actually, finding the props from this Dark Knight villain is getting tougher and more expensive as October 31st approaches. A lot of the reason for this buying frenzy is the fact that Halloween falls on a Friday this year. More adults than ever before are buying up the hard to find hexagon shirt, purple coat, vest and pants. Here are a few alternative ideas to consider:

The nurse costume is a good choice. The thought alone is quite freaky and the hospital scene with Two Face left quite an impact on many who saw the movie. The costume does not require nearly as much work. Nurses outfits are readily available at thrift stores or can be bought at a uniform shop. Maybe you even know a nurse who can lend you one! The makeup remains the same, grab a surgical mask or make one. A clip board or folding book would do for the additional prop. Although there was a gun in the scene, it's not really necessary. Possibly some white nylons and shoes but again, not really necessary. The nurse will definitely be popular but you won't see as many Joker nurse's as just joker's. But how about a real off the wall idea? Something really unique?

If you run with this next original idea you will likely be the only one at your party if not your town! You might even be the subject of the next viral video on youtube! Ok, I'll spill the beans. Why not make a Ronald McDonald Joker Heath costume? Finding clothes to resemble the famous golden arches mascot shouldn't be too difficult. It wouldn't have to be exact because you can carry a happy meal or just a take out bag in one hand to drive home the point. Just having those red stripes and golden clothing will do it. Some oversized red shoes would help too! Of course, the facial makeup will be the scary Batman joker makeup. Possibly a joker knife prop in the other hand. These knives are readily available, especially the plastic fake prop ones and they are cheap too!

So there you go. Two more ideas for you. Hopefully this will get your mind thinking of more ideas. Being a little unique is always a good thing for winning a contest or impressing your fellow co-workers at the company party. So get cracking! Halloween is right around the corner.

Hello, my name is Ray Sherman. Feel free to run with my scary Ronald McDonald Joker idea. Just promise me you'll stop in for a Big Mac on your way to the party! Whatever you decide to create you'll need to get started on your costume props soon. I for one am very excited about Halloween this year. I am an avid collector of Batman movie memorabilia and particularly fond of the Joker. It goes without saying what I am going to be this year and yes, my costume has been complete for some time now! Thank you for taking the time to read my article. Be sure to visit my website at http://www.JokerHeathCollectibles.com and good luck with your Halloween costume, whatever it may be!

Arab Sheik Halloween Costume for Adults

Arab Sheik Adult costumes for the Arabic style that will be a huge hit this Halloween!! A Middle Eastern costume is guaranteed to make this Halloween one to remember!!

I don't know what's on your holiday wish list, but I do know one thing that everyone wants, and that's good health. Of course good health is not something you can give, or even buy, but there are lots of things you can give (or put on your own wish list), that can help you or those you care for to live a healthier lifestyle.

Fortunately, when it comes to gift-giving options that offer both good health and great taste - there are lots of options:

For the Cook

  • A slow cooker. Wonderful for cooking up healthy soups, stews and tenderizing lean meats. Accompany it with any one of the many slow cooker cookbooks on the market which often feature reduced calorie, reduced-carb and diabetes-friendly recipes.
  • A good kitchen scale. The EatSmart Nutrition Scale is an excellent choice. It not only easily and accurately weighs food to help everyone with portion control, it calculates the nutrition content (including calories, fat, and carbs) of the food it weighs.
  • A great everyday non-stick pan. For everything from scrambled eggs (with veggies of course) to nightly sauts, a non-stick pan is essential for healthy reduced fat cooking. Pair it with one of the a brightly colored high-heat silicone spatula.
For The Baker

  • Silicone bake wear. Beyond the fun fancy colors, silicone bake wear offers several "healthy" advantages. Silicone bake wear requires no greasing, cooks evenly, and can go straight from the oven-to-table-to-freezer. This means healthy home-cooked batches of baked goods (such as muffins or portioned cakes), can be cooled, wrapped and popped right into the freezer for easy-to-thaw single portions.
  • Create a bakers basket. Fill a basket of your choice with a small cake or muffin pan, a wooden spoon or two, a bag or box of Splenda, and a copy of Unbelievable Desserts with Splenda.
  • A microplane zester or grater. Nothing beats a microplane zester or grater for sharpness! Use these to make lemon or orange zest - two of my favorite ingredients in healthy baking and cooking recipes. Nothing beats fat better than great flavor!
Great Taste For Everyone

  • Think beyond cookies and candy for food gifts. Gifts of spices, wonderful olive oils, aged balsamic vinegars, nuts or homemade "better-for-you" treats always stand out.
  • Grab one of these great baskets. Put together by the American Diabetes Wholesale team, you'll find something tasty for anyone watching their health.
  • Marlene Koch's Sensational Splenda Recipes offers over 375 recipes that deliver good health and great taste anytime of year. One example is my Sweet Cherry Topping which is perfect this time of year. (See recipe)
Happy Healthy Holidays to you and yours!

Halloween Michael Myers Classic Horror Suspense Movie Sequel Whiteout Adult Black T-Shirt

Wire-wrapping is one of the oldest forms of jewelery-making. It is also one of the most popular in modern times, being relatively inexpensive and relatively easy to learn at a basic level. Of course, the more adventurous you become as an artisan, the more expensive and skilled it can become, but wire-wrapping can be one of the most rewarding forms of jewelery-making there is.

Gold and silver wire are measured and sold in a wide range thicknesses and shapes e.g. round wire ranges from 0.3mm to 6mm diameter. millimetres The diameter of the wire determines its suitability for certain applications; 0.8mm and 1mm wire is widely-used for creating wire shapes, whereas the thinner gauge wire 0.3mm is more suitable for adding decoration or even threading beads.

Gold and silver wire also come in different shapes; square, round, half-round and oval. Square wire is generally used for wire-wrapping designs, such as the creation of a bracelet, half-round wire is most popular as a means of creating connections between the components of a piece and round wire is the most popular shape for creating loops and other more intricate designs.

The hardness of gold and silver wire also has some bearing on its uses; wire comes in varying degrees of hardness: full hard, half hard and dead soft. Full hard and half hard wire are used to create more robust pieces that may have weight to them; perhaps the wire supports a stone in the piece or is used in jewelery that is primarily made of wire. Because of its hardness, half hard or full hard wire will require more tools to manipulate it than dead soft wire. Dead soft wire can be manipulated using your hands, but it is better to use pliers for precision work. Dead soft wire can accommodate light beads and can be bent to create intricate designs and pieces, but they are likely to be very delicate and not recommended as jewellery to be worn on a daily basis.

A quick and easy way to celebrate the nearing holiday season is by sending someone flowers. Online flower delivery services are gearing up for a busy winter season and already have special sales available on festive arrangements. But, a common misconception is that flower services only sell flowers. This couldn't be further from the truth!

Many websites catering to flower delivery also provide popular holiday gifts, such as popcorn tins and gourmet baskets. There are always changeable sales, as well. 6StarReviews.com cites FTD as a website that not only provides countless flowers of all kinds, they also personalize custom gift baskets and Thanksgiving centerpieces. What better way to enjoy the holiday than with autumn-inspired colors and designs? Many harvest bouquets and tabletop centerpieces are offered at discount rates, to ensure your holiday is extra special.

Another popular flower site, 1-800-Flowers, is now offering customers special discounts on gift baskets. Though flowers are their specialty, 1-800-Flowers has incredible deals on orchard fruit gift baskets, holiday gourmet gifts and custom-designed gift purchases from names like Paula Deen and the Barefoot Contessa, a Food Network fan's dream.

Though pre-selected bouquets and arrangements often come in holiday colors, you may wish to pick out your own colors. For Thanksgiving, some great flower choices include chrysanthemums, gerbera daisies and bittersweet. Poinsettias, assorted lilies and orchids are popular picks throughout the Christmas and Hanukkah season. Remember, online flower services can ship arrangements the same day if needed, and they have flowers from all seasons year-round!
